Didn't I say in the last Isabelle post that I would be back with the other outfit? It's finally here! Luis [my wonderful boyfriend] ordered this for me as a birthday present and it took over a month to be delivered. When I was exploring all the booths at PAX and Dreamhack I spotted the summer outfit Isabelle multiple times! The Winter Version is much more expensive and harder to find. I love seeing Good Smile products because I think they are extremely high quality and so well made.
The photos this time around definitely look way more professional. I tried my best to set up a good back drop and m made sure that all the pieces were intact! A big problem that I have with preparing for product posts is that I always do an unboxing on stream and then have to put everything back together as if I never opened it. Here's a first look at the box for Miss Isabelle in her winter cardigan!
I am loving this orange color! My two nendoroid boxes will look nice on my shelf next to each other. I like how they showcase all the poses.
I JUST CAN'T GET OVER HOW THEY ARE POSES FROM IN GAME! Time to florish.
I am really happy about the extra pieces in this set. Stars and twinkles!
There are two layers for the packaging inside. You can see all the body pieces on top but the two back plates are hiding underneath!
My Animal Crossing Uniqlo shirt was a perfect choice for a table cover.
Three extra sets of Isabelle arms. A simple straight pair and two that look mega tough as if she's flexing or something.
The two back plates for both poses! Stars for florish and twinkles for pride.
A close up because I want to show off my amazing Animal Crossing Uniqlo shirt!
Isabelle's hair is actually pretty complicated and has many parts to it. You could really get creative and use your own decorative accessories for her! Maybe a cute bow?
The best way to greet your favorite villager! I found kind of difficult to twist her arm so that it could look like how it does on the box. How do they do that? I can't seem to get the right angle.
I am in love with her little tooth that shows for this figure face.
You don't need to do anything fancy for this first pose. Only the regular clear brace is used!
This is where it gets more interesting! Tiny music notes were included in the other figure but these extra pieces are absolutely insane. I really like that the clear back plate for the stars has a unique cut. It's not completely hidden but it looks nice overall.
EVEN THE COLORS MATCH UP! I have so much fun twirling with my villagers for pictures in game.
I tried to make sure that her one leg was popped out. It's the finishing dance move hehe.
This is the pose that I will keep her in for my shelf! It's the best one for sure.
Front view! Ta-dah!
Here's the last pose! Isabelle's confident and and a job well done pose. Her facial expression is super fierce and she's got her hands on her hips like "I got this!"
If you wanted, you could switch around all the pieces. For example, I could add in the music notes from the other figure for extra fun! Both figures work the same so swapping around the outfits and facial expressions would be no problem at all.
Just like how she would look in the game! She sparkles and shines.
Now it's time to sit back and wait for another version. I highly doubt it will happen but I'm just saying...she's got more outfits!!! I would love to see something separate that we could buy for our current figures. Different clothes! Kimono, plaid dress, and RV outfit. OH MY PLEASE GIVE ME A FIGURE WITH HER WELCOME AMIIBO RV OUTFIT. JUST IMAGE HER WITH THE GLASSES! TINY GLASSES TO ADD TO HER CUTE FACE. She's so hip and adorable in her lounge wear.
I now own both Isabelle figures so I am happy and totally content...for now. The Winter Outfit Version is seriously so elite. They don't ever have it at conventions and the price jump is kind of ridiculous. To be honest, it's still so worth. These two lovely figures match the Isabelle amiibos that I have!
