 0605-5794-622Dana's idea: Smash TournamentI don't have much time to play Smash or keep up with the scene anymore but I still love it! My boyfriend Luis introduced me to the competitive smash scene and we would always watch melee finals together. I only like to play Smash 4 because I am not very good at melee. I put together this tournament in game for the villagers last year and recently made a few changes. I went to Dreamhack for the first time and was able to experience what it's really like to be at a smash event! There is a lot going on in this design but I tried to make it as accurate as possible. There are a few tables with Wii U's for "friendlies", the main stage, merchandise booth, and prize corner! The commentators sit in front of a camera and work their magic! I really enjoy listening to the commentary during each match and I missed out on it at Dreamhack because you can only hear it on the actual stream. I was so sad because it felt so silent without it! You always have to play melee on ancient TV's so I used the clunky ones and put them back to back. I know they don't just display the prize money in stacks on a table but I thought it would be so cute to have Bob jumping for joy in front of the trophy and everything because he won the tournament!
