dANA'S IDEA: cHRISTMAS eVE
Doggo fam is celebrating Christmas Eve with a big family dinner! Daisy and Goldie are hoping to get what they asked for from Jingle! They were feeling very festive this year and went all out with decorations. Mac Dad takes a snooze on his favorite chair while Portia Mom cleans up the kitchen. The two sisters sit by the fireplace and listen to Christmas carols. The perfect way to end the night and prepare for Christmas Day!
Dana's Idea: BACCHUS
This whole design started with someone mentioning "feeding grapes". I feel like there's a mixture of different themes going on here. I really don't think the roman god of wine had a jester but oh well because Bob looks good in the shirt. Klaus's look is actually based on Julius Caesar and I'm totally starting to get flashbacks to my high school AP English class. You can see that Klaus also has his own artist (Apollo) who is painting for him! How lovely.
Dana's Idea: Dreamy Salon
Diva's request is so vague and I had trouble trying to figure out a theme for her but I am really happy with how it turned out! Everything is pastel purple and pink! She has the most wicked sideburns so I decided that a hair salon would be perfect for her. Clients can come in for cut, color, and treatment!
Dana'S Idea: ROck Concert
Not going to lie, this design really takes me back to my concert days. My music preference nowadays is basically Kpop and Indie/Alternative. When I was in high school I listened to screamo bands and went to Warped Tour. YUP. LIKE WHAT!????? Anyways, that edgy phase is LONG over. I guess this request is clever but maybe Wolfgang actually wanted something to do with rocks? Oh well, I gave him a rock band concert instead! Fan girls are in the crowd singing along and the venue has open bar, seats, and pool! I put snazzy outfits on our performers and beanies on the attendees because it makes them look young and "hip".
Dana's Idea: Sauna
I never really liked the idea of designing outside themes inside if that makes sense. When see "Hot Springs Spa" I always think back to animes/mangas where they are all together bathing. Not very appropriate for an Animal Crossing design so I came up with this sauna for Greta's house! I know it doesn't seem practical to have the front desk IN the sauna but hey, I need to cover that floor space. I have never been in sauna before so I tried my best based on reference photos. I guess sauna's do have health benefits because your muscles unwind and your tension fades with a good sweat. Oh man, jock villagers NEED to come here.
Dana's Idea: Spoopy Stories
Join Genji and his exclusive book club where they have scary story sessions! Enjoy the haunting atmosphere and get chills sent down your spine when listening in. A whole library of your favorite stories are here and waiting for you!
Dana's Idea: Art Shop
I LOVE the little art shops where it's a mixture of items for sale AND a personal studio. Always support those small businesses! I designed Merry's home after this one place I remember going to. The woman who worked there was super sweet! She had such unique items that were all handmade such as plates, vases and tiny jewelry bowls. In the back you could see her whole ceramics set up and the materials that she uses. It was incredible! This is dedicated to her fabulous work.
Dana's Idea: ALL FUN AND GAMES
Chester the little panda bear has a bamboo forest themed room for his bedroom! Very fitting right? He is surrounded by all his favorite toys and video games. He loves to invite friends over for game night! Winner takes all in Amiibo Festival: Board Game Edition. When will we get this Nintendo!?
Dana's Idea: Amy's Bakery
This episode of Kitchen Nightmares was absolutely ridiculous. I didn't want to make a plain kitchen/restaurant design so of course I decided to go for another Gordon Ramsay theme! For a quick summary, Amy and her husband (who looks like he is the leader of a mob) own this company together and they claim to be attacked by bloggers because they were writing negative reviews. Ramsay starts to see multiple things wrong with their food and service to customers. This design was supposed to be more messy but I guess it actually turned out pretty cute. I only have the big pile of trash behind the counters. My character once again is transformed into Gordon Ramsay and ready to take on difficult challenges. ENJOY.

Dana's Idea: fARMHOUSE
This design reminds me of the home from Courage The Cowardly Dog! It's very simple and has antique decor. Just like Eustace in the show, Beardo's TV is very precious to him and it's pretty much all he needs to be happy. He lives a comfortable life in "the middle of nowhere".
