Isabelle is very prominent in the Animal Crossing series. I love her as an NPC character and how helpful she is towards the player. I will be reviewing the Nendoroid figure with her classic plaid summer outfit. I am hoping to purchase the winter version sometime soon!
The box design is very colorful and you can see most of the pieces through the window! Keep reading to see more of what's inside. This was my first time taking product photos and I didn't realize that the red ring fell out of place.
The pose featured on the box is how I have her now on shelf! I am obsessed with the little clipboard/pen because she always looks so ready to take on the day. Best secretary ever!
It looks like Luna wanted to join on the photo shoot! You will be seeing a lot of her in this post.
The colors on the box are so vibrant and match Isabelle's whole look perfectly!
-2 Additional Facial Expressions
-6 Arm Pieces
-2 Music Notes
-Red Hair Band With Extender
-Hair Bells Accessory
-Clear Platform Base
-3 Clear Braces
The two facial expressions are from the game! Glee and Curiosity. Shrunk would be so proud of me.
Everything was flawless! There were no scratches on any of the pieces and the paint is very high quality.
The thick brace is for Isabelle so that she can stand on the platform base. The thin ones are used to attach onto the music notes! You can see that here are holes on the base and that is where you place the braces.
This pose is very easy to put together! All you have to do is switch out the arms and there you go. There are a ton of different variations you could try with what's given to you.
Try to be a bit delicate with the clipboard and pen because you don't them to bend! I was really nervous when I first tried putting in these arm pieces because I thought I was going to break something off since I had issues with adjusting.
It's time for a different pose! Here's what you have to do if you want to change the facial expression. The head can break off into multiple pieces. You have her hair poof (still attached in this photo), bangs, and face. They pop off pretty easily! Not too much force is needed.
Now that she has the correct facial expression, we add the new arms and put her back onto the platform base! I find it really funny while I am typing this out because I sound so casual about it. "Just swap out xyz body part"
You can do this in two different ways! Attach the brace to either Isabelle or the platform first. Both work without any struggles.
Adding the music notes! I absolutely adore how each pose comes with separate accessories.
Isabelle singing and dancing! If you keep this at your desk you are guaranteed to have a good day.
What do you think Luna? Why such a grumpy face? We have one more pose to do!
Luna loves to take over my space. I don't mind it because I got all these pictures of her sniffing around and examining the toy pieces!
"Hmmm...nothing suspicious here."
"I wonder what this is?"
"Oh this is where it came from. Yes. I found the source."
The red hair band can actually be replaced! The question mark has an extension band. You have to take off her hair poof and lock everything into place! Be aware that the bells are separate. It has a ring and you have to make sure you keep it steady when you put the top back on. Loop everything through!
A closer look at the piece!
Here it is! The final pose! The look of confusion. Isabelle will be questioning your every move.
I received this as a Christmas gift from one of my close friends and couldn't be more happy with it. I have tons of Amiibo figures but never owned anything like this. Isabelle is my first nendoroid and definitely not my last! You will be seeing another post from me in the future once I get my hands on that winter outfit version.
