Oh boy I am really behind on this blog. I still play daily but I have to admit that it's been kind of a challenge trying to keep up with all of these recent events. Pocket Camp really has no chill and it's been like event after event. I am going to try my best to go through what I have missed and talk about some new things that have been happening. Where did we last leave off? Let's see...OUTFITS!

I apologize for being so late with this post! The events just keep on coming and I don't think I will be able to catch up LOL. I love all the new content they have been adding to Pocket Camp so I guess this is a good problem to have? No complaints here. I wanted to archive my progress from Lottie's event of course!

I never would of thought that Lottie out of all the NPC's would be into the Lolita/Goth style. She totally rocks it though.

Let's be honest, flower events are a PAIN but the flowers are always so pretty. The ones from Rover were decent but these are shiny and super glossy hehe.

I wish that we were able to get Lottie's dress as a reward. You know, the one she is wearing! It's poofy and has the cutest ruffles. The dress we got is like a downgrade version of it haha.

I had a ton of flower food so whenever I was lazy and didn't feel like waiting for flowers to bloom I went ahead and took a shortcut.

PHASE 2 FLOWERS WERE EVEN BETTER! They look like precious crystals. The mix of colors is beautiful!

They claimed that they made the catch rate better and I think I noticed the changes but I still felt like I was failing most of time. I depended on friends to give me a lot of bats since it's exhausting to have to keep checking back and planting flowers.

I haven't used any of these items at my campsite yet but these two were my favorites from Lottie's event.

I didn't completely finish Rover's Garden Safari so I'm not sure if I missed out on a cool cut scene like this one. Is this the band Lottie was talking about? WE ARE HARDCORD JAMMING.

Before you can enter your garden again you have to say farewell to Lottie. I wish she could stay and keep me company at my campsite :(

Oh wow I am so behind on photos. I have been playing actively but I wasn't able to transfer files from my phone to the temporary computer I was using. I finally saved up enough money to buy parts for a new computer so I can go back to updating regularly :)

This event took a HUGE chunk of my leaf tickets. The catch rate for the butterflies were so low I had to ask loid to guarantee some just so I could get all the furniture items. It just feels wrong to not have everything from a special limited event.

So you're telling me that that loid can do a better job than me? I'm just an amateur when it comes to bug catching I guess. 

You can't deny that Rover has one of the creepiest stares in the game.

Thanks to all the wonderful people who shared their butterflies with me during both Rover waves! I didn't 100% complete all tasks but I did get at least 1 of each Rover item.

I actually own three Rover screens in total. I got rid of all the New Year's stuff so that I could turn my campsite into a cat cafe! Once I finish I'll invite all the kitties :3

I paid off my 150k loan and boy was it NOT WORTH at all. I was able to put like one more thing in the upstairs room, LOL. WELP.

I decided to get the OK Motors Jacket from MyNintendoRewards because I hope to put this on a villager once the new feature arrives! DRESSING UP YOUR VILLAGERS AHHHHHHHHHHH SO EXCITED.

I was really hoping to see QR codes with this but it's literally the same thing as crafting furniture. It's just a list of clothes that you can't buy from the marketplace.

What's cool about it though is that you call Labelle, Kicks, or whoever depending on the item!

Even the box design is different! I appreciate small details like this.

Happy New Year! Welcome back to my pocket camp diaries blog series. I have to admit that I haven't been playing as much as I used to but I've definitely been making some progress. New villagers have made an appearance and a very anticipated event is finally here.

The tree house is absolutely incredible.​​ Just look at the mini bookcase and world map inside! It was so worth to collect all that natural essence.

It's so cute seeing your villagers reading a book inside! Del is on the look out :D

I was worried that I wouldn't get enough lucky charms in time to craft the Isabelle kite but I was able to finish the whole list of furniture items from the New Year's event.

I am surprised they brought in Sprinkle so late. She would have been the perfect addition if they announced her back before Christmas.

I had my doubts but the hammock is probably my new favorite amenity. I have been upgrading so that I can eventually get the sweet hot air balloon.

Hello there, have we met before???

NEW FLOWER SEEDS!

When you are in Rover's tutorial mode for the new event, the flowers will grow instantly. Do not be fooled! You are going to have to wait the normal 3 hours after LOL.

You have a menu where you can keep track of your requests. Collecting enough butterflies earns you a gift from Rover.

I NEED MORE!!! I LOVE THE COLOR SCHEME AND DESIGN.

Just like the regular flower trade, you can trade in these special butterflies for materials and furniture//accessories.

Got too many butterflies? You can head to a friend's camp and make their day by sharing butterflies with them! The butterfly will appear on their flower for them to catch.

I am slightly annoyed about how we have the option to select all bugs to catch but not when we are actually planting the flowers. We STILL have to plant and harvest one by one.

I've tried catching separately and all together. I think it's just more RNG :(
You probably won't be successful with all your butterfly catches.

EASY RUSTIC ESSENCE! It's too bad you can only buy blue dahlias in the seasonal tab.

To top off the whole event, a new RV customization! Check out that sweater vest pattern.

This event helped lure me back into the game for sure. They just introduced new villagers so I feel very spoiled! I want to know why they chose Punchy to promo the New Year's banner? Don't get me wrong I LOVE Punchy but it seems so random LOL.

It's like the snowman and fireplace ALL OVER AGAIN. Both the Isabelle kite and floral screen need 250 countdown charms. Time to grind! All of these items are BEAUTIFUL.

New timed goals to earn countdown charms!

I was out of control yesterday when playing Pocket Camp. I saw countdown charms at my quarry and got five people to help me enter. I come back a couple hours later and see natural essence. I spent 20 tickets to override because it's near impossible for me to get natural essence. Time passes and I see countdown charms AGAIN so I spent another 20 tickets. IF YOU SEE COUNTDOWN CHARMS, DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO.

Delivery! Here are a few things that I crafted with the charms I earned :)

I have a lot of cherry blossom graphics for my Twitch channel because of the festival that takes place in New Leaf! This makes me excited for Chinese New Year! Moon cakes, red envelopes, and hot pot! I like how they have the basket of tangerines to symbolize the superstitious significance. Wealth, prosperity, and good luck. I think it's probably one of my favorite holidays. Most of the furniture is based on Japanese traditions but it's still very cool ^‿^

Outfits to fit the occasion!

I can't believe I changed out of my fur coat. Not even the android exclusives or santa outfit could convince me to ditch my Cruella de Vil look. I like the bow on the back so this is probably the only time I'll wear something different. Red snapper for a red dress! Moe looks delighted.

New items means that I have to redecorate the campsite! I decided to turn the one side into a pretty Tea Garden. I am so happy with how it turned out! I have been waiting to use these topiaries I got from the flower trade. June's clip matches the tea kettle ahhhhh she is so cute!

I gave K.K. all the equipment so I could recreate the Animal Crossing movie fireworks festival scene. If any of you have seen it, it's when they all had the kimonos on and the famous musician was center stage!

This is the moment I have been waiting for! I was wondering when Mitzi was going to make her appearance because since the last villager wave it seemed like they almost forgot about the others! These updates always release very late at night for me. It was 2am and I saw Mitzi's face on my contact list! I was so happy that new contact has been added. All the recent holiday affairs have slowed me down so I am a bit behind on this blog. Don't worry, I already have screenshots ready for the New Year's stuff that came out! For now, just enjoy this rustic recap.

7 new villagers have arrived and I didn't find Mitzi on my map for the first map refresh. Makes sense because there are only 4 spots so they needed to cycle. I like how new villagers are guaranteed to show up once they have been put into the game. 

AHHHHHHHH YESSSSS!!! It's too good to be true. Who do I have to thank at Nintendo for giving me Mitzi!???

Past level 50 now! My dedication to this game has paid off I guess,

New "rustic" essence bottles! The logo has a tiny house and small windmill behind it looks like. It makes me think that these new villagers are farm animals or something. I can see how it suits Mitzi and other normal personality villagers because rustic refers to plain or simple.

Been saving up my request tickets for so long. It's a good idea to use a bunch of them for new villagers because you don't get many chances to catch them on your map. While you can, finish their initial requests and then keep helping them out until they hit that required level! This will drain your resources but it is worth trust me hehe. My goal is invite all villagers in so if you don't care for that then no worries.

I decided to use calling cards to bring some villys to each location so I can level them up. Being productive!

These two had relatively easy furniture to craft. Not too many resources were needed.

Marshal on the other hand...all his sloppy stuff requires a lot of natural essence and I'm running low on that.

Red pansies are cheap to plant and you can trade them in for this round topiary!!! I chose A :)

A few changes :(
You can no longer talk to all villagers at your campsite as frequently as before. Only a few will show in a chat bubble above your head if you stand still. I like how they added this feature to show you exactly who to go to but it's so sad I can't get points for everyone anymore.

I caught a football fish at night and it glows! WAHHHHH SO NICE!???

OMG FINALLY!!! FIRST TIME SEEING THE JEWEL BEETLE. Completed my bug section! 7/7 doesn't seem so impressive compared to the encyclopedia we have for New Leaf LOL.

Categories: Fish, Bugs, and Flowers! This makes the game feel very much like New Leaf because of the whole completion goals thing.

A lot of people were confused about where the garden was located so make sure you look left and find Isabelle next to your camper! She will show you the way~

I'm glad this update came out because I was running out of things to do//keep me entertained. I remember seeing something about gardening way back when watching the direct so it's nice to see it in action.

First time I got rare seeds from x-pollinating! I can't remember but I either used a yellow or red pansy on a yellow pansy.

I am convinced that this x-pollinating process is totally RNG. You can use certain colors for a higher chance at obtaining the rare seed but it's not guaranteed at all.

There's a new catalog list of flower furniture that you can get from Loid! Trade in flowers for different items to use at the campsite or inside your camper! I planted 20 yellow pansies for the purple end table. You can tell that the new stuff is just regular AC furniture with a pattern. Obviously that's a minimalist minitable LOL. GAME CAN'T FOOL ME OKAY I KNOW MY ACNL FURNI.

These villagers are LOADED. I heard rumors about people getting 2,500 bells for no reason and it took 2 days for me to get the elite stash of cash. Thanks Bluebear!

WE HAVE POSES NOW! SAY GOODBYE TO STANDING AROUND LOOKING EMOTIONLESS NEXT TO YOUR VILLAGERS. Ahhhh I am so happy!!! You can now take screenshots in a square ratio mode and save it to your phone. It also gives you the option to upload directly to a few social media platforms.

After struggling for so many days trying to obtain enough natural essence, I finally built the tree stump picnic set. I WAS MISSING ONLY 1 NATURAL ESSENCE FOR LIKE A WEEK STRAIGHT. My villagers hate me.

TAD ALWAYS LOOKS SO FUNNY AND CUTE BECAUSE HE IS SO TINY. You just see his floating head or eyeballs whenever he stands behind something.

My walls were so sad and plain upstairs so I decided to craft some lovely wall to match all the furniture up there! There we go! Much better. Heads up: once you use wallpaper it can't be taken off.

My kitchen area has a bit more space to walk now! Added a refrigerator and sink. I really like all the greenery in this room.

Been waiting a long time for this to finish. I decided to make it because I wanted my villagers to jam out on the guitar. Start some street festivals.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY RARE BUGS ON THE ISLAND BEFORE. I finally caught the emperor butterfly! It was my first time seeing it and I was told by friends that it was difficult to catch. I was so prepared for it because I stared my screen and waited for the tap notification. Lysee does not look amused at all in the back.

New villagers added to my invited list! I find it so funny how in Charlise's photo the campsite is literally EMPTY. LOLOL AND SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT HOW AMAZING MY PLACE WAS???
