It is so nice to be back at home blogging! It's been a couple weeks since TwitchCon but I finally found time to take pictures of some stuff I got during my trip. It was hard to get back into the groove of things at first because I was completely exhausted from traveling and socializing. I don't go out much so attending a convention really takes a lot of out me. I really enjoyed my time in California because it was a nice break from everything. It forced me out of my usual routine and gave me the chance to experience a whole new place! I got the chance to meet so many amazing friends from Twitch. I feel a bit empty because I don't when will be the next time I get to see all of them again.
I'm back with lots of Animal Crossing goodies to show you guys! It's actually my last day here at the apartment because I leave for California in the morning with Luis! Check out my previous packing post! I will be gone for five days and I honestly don't know what I am going to do. It breaks my heart to be away from streaming for so long. I will do my best to keep you all updated on social media! I'm sure there will be open stations where I can stream for maybe 1-2 hours. TwitchCon isn't until Friday but this year we planned to arrive super early so we can have time to explore before the weekend. I am going to be uploading in total **three** blog posts for you guys to read while I am gone. I wanted to leave behind lots of content because I'm dramatic and acting like I'm leaving forever. PLEASE DON'T FORGET ABOUT ME! LET'S PLAY LOTS OF ANIMAL CROSSING WHEN I RETURN OKAY? COMEBACK STREAM CONFIRMED. Please enjoy your rest of the week//weekend. I love you all and hope to see some of your beautiful faces at the convention. Add me on LINE (Sugarcoatedkiss) if you want to attend my meetup so I can give you the details. Join Discord and follow me on Twitter (@ACNLSugar) for all things cute and Animal Crossing pretty much. Don't miss out on anything! I have some spectacular things to show this time around so let's get into it!
I own the April–June 2016 Pikopuri and August/September 2014 Japanese magazines! They always come with QR code books and some kind of special merchandise. My K.K. Slider CP card was obtained from these magazines. The Isabelle card I showed on my last lifestyle blog post was bought individually because the magazine+card is like $200. I discovered a new April-June 2017 issue on Yes-Asia and did some research about what came with it. There is only one photo on the listing and on the cover you can see that this issue comes with some type of book. I got Animal Crossing playing cards with the 2014 issue!
TwitchCon is NEXT WEEK and I am pretty sure that most of us have been counting down the days until the event. The excitement is building but my stress levels are also through the roof. I wanted to put this blog post together because I am trying to avoid a repeat of last year when I stayed up all night packing to catch my morning flight. For those who are attending, I suggest you start preparing sooner rather than later. I know it's tough starting early because you still need to use all the stuff you plan to pack during the days leading up to the convention. I recommend making a list of important things that you need because I always end up forgetting something last minute. I'm getting ready for this year's TwitchCon with my awesome significant other: Luis! You will see "his and hers" in some of the photos! This is our second TwitchCon together and he was the one who introduced me to Twitch and streaming. I was brand new to the platform but attending TwitchCon definitely inspired me to set big goals that seemed almost impossible. When I left last year, I told myself that I wanted to come back the next year as a partner. I can't believe I actually accomplished that and so much more. I fell in love with Twitch and the community because of all the amazing individuals who show passion and appreciation for their favorite video games. Becoming a full-time broadcaster has brought so much positive change to my life. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and spending time with close friends. If this will be your first time at TwitchCon, no worries! I am here to share some tips and my experience from last year. I didn't take pictures of everything, basically only in my opinion, the MUST HAVES.
In need of some Twitch merchandise? Amazon launched a Twitch store with official clothing and lots more! Twitch stuff was pretty rare before this so make sure you take a look! The pillow that I waited 2 hours in line for now has prime shipping. LUCKY YOU.
Glad to see you're back! It's time to reflect on my first anime convention experience as a whole. J1Con is much smaller than most cons out there but I had fun because it was like the last big social occasion for me before the summer ended. Luis and I hosted our good friend Lysee [Lysee6 on Twitch] and we all spent the weekend in our city. We met Lysee through Twitch and have known him for over a year now. It was a blast having him stay with us because we really enjoy the company. Both of us are always working during different hours so it makes it difficult for us to plan anything with others. It was a nice break from everything and I still ended up streaming every day but the streams were more casual and laid back. Lysee brought Miku on the PS4 and I had a serious practice session. It's so hard trying to transition from 3DS to a controller where the buttons are FLIPPED. We took Lysee to some of our favorite places around the city! Ikea, ACMoore, Chinatown, and Gamestop. Don't judge us alright! Ikea has the best food and it's crazy affordable. If you hang out with us we will make sure you are comfortable and that you save money. We are a simple couple and we really do not need luxurious things to be happy. I've realized that some of my most memorable moments in life are not the ones where I was out at some fancy restaurant but just at home spending time with friends. I have learned to truly appreciate the time spent with the people I care about because once you get older schedules start to clash. Everyone has their own thing going on and it's almost impossible to meet up. Conventions bring internet friends together. This weekend was special to me and although I have plenty complaints about J1Con it was worth to have a close friend come to visit! It was not pricey at all but I think I'm going to save up to go to a better anime convention later down the line.
I can't say that this is my first time cosplaying because I went all out one year for Halloween with a Harley Quinn costume. I made her big hammer and everything! What's different this time is that didn't attend a convention or huge event so I was a bit nervous about dressing up. I really wanted to do an Animal Crossing cosplay and thought that Reese and Cyrus would be fun to attempt with Luis. Lysee was supposed to wear a red new leaf that I painted for him but it didn't dry in time. He ended up wearing a Resetti shirt and we didn't notice until the last day that we never took a proper group photo.
Happy September everyone! This post and the next one on the way will still be focused on events that happened in August. I was very focused on growing as a content creator this summer and I feel that I accomplished a lot of the goals I had set for myself. These past few months have gone by very fast for me but I am more than ready for Fall. I am looking forward to sweater weather and big anniversaries coming up! Luis and I will be celebrating 3 years together in November. October marks my 2 years on Twitch as a streamer and December is when I got partnered. I usually get carried away during the introduction part for most of my blog posts so this time I will try to keep it short and sweet. I just always have so much to say I'm sorry! I'm glad I was able to finally find time to finish this post. What are we going to be talking about today? I introduce to you: THE BIG BOX HAUL! Subbies sent me big boxes filled with incredible stuff that I just have to show off. I opened up everything on stream and it felt neverending! I kept taking out more and more items. I couldn't breathe by the end of it because it was all so unexpected. I want to thank Sampai, Sailrrvenus, and Hecksmaniac for putting together such lovely care packges.
More cards from hecksmaniac! Welcome Amiibo cards are basically extinct now so I am always happy to receive more. They are so hard to find nowadays and I really wish they didn't discontinue them. I have never seen this "Lovely Majory" witch character before but I am obsessed with that fluffball with the one eye.
Oh hai there! It's been awhile since my last post and I have a lot to share with you guys! My community is so thoughtful and continues to send me amazing gifts. You might have seen some of this already during "Sugar Mail Time" on stream already but I like making these posts for a more detailed look at everything. I've noticed that I am not the only one who appreciates a good-looking packaging. Everything that my viewers send are so photo worthy and I can't help but to grab my camera. I want to thank all the etsy shop owners who have been sending me their creations. Just so you know, I will promote you like crazy on my blog if you send me cute animal crossing merch! I have been adding to my stationary collection because I have reached the point of no return. I was browsing through Blippo.com for like hours and finally put together a cart. I have partnered up with KawaiiBox for two review posts and I fell in love with their products so I decided to place an order for individual items from the shop. I was emailing them and they asked for my order number so that they could add in extra surprises for me! I am so happy that I stand out to a company like them. They treat me very well and always make me smile with their kind gestures. Look forward to that review and another one about a sticker company who contacted me! I don't want to spoil anything so just stayed tuned. I tend to ramble a lot (I have this problem on stream too) so I apologize for this long introduction. Remember when I was going on about my 8th Animal Crossing town in the last post? Well...I've pushed back the date twice and decided that the 10 hour stream is going to happen on September 1st most likely. The graphic for the event is currently in the works and there will be a lot of giveaway prizes! Oh that's right! I wanted to talk about a significant purchase that I made recently. I upgraded my whole stream area with a brand new desk and side shelf. My next lifestyle post is going to be a desk tour! I know I'm just blurting out announcements but there's a very long list to go through. I guess I can keep most of it a secret. Let's get into the post! I hope you enjoy ^_^
I am so impressed by these earrings that Birdofthemoon made! She mentioned to me on stream multiple times that she would be sending these and they have finally arrived in perfect condition. This package was so fun and different because it was stuffed with pom poms! I dumped out a colorful mess onto my desk and found three beautiful pairs of Animal Crossing earrings. I'm sure these items look familiar right? Present boxes, fossils, and refurbished furniture leaves from in game! I tried them all on and the fossils are my favorite! The red leaves represent 3-month subbies in chat since she added the glitter for some sparkle. I don't usually do dangly but I'll give in to anything that is Animal Crossing. These are handmade by one of my lovely subs and her username is Birdofthemoon. Check out her etsy shop if you would like a pair for yourself!

She sent me a separate charm of the fossil style! It comes with a small clasp so that it can be used on a necklace, bracelet, or keychain.
I attended the G-Dragon concert in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday July 27th. I bought tickets back in May and it was the best decision I have ever made. I found out about his world tour through Spotify when I was listening to him on the plane to Texas for Dreamhack. The plane didn't take off yet and I noticed when scrolling down at the bottom it said "upcoming concerts". I used to always google "Big Bang concerts in my area" and nothing ever shows up. I had lost hope a long time ago but I remembered that his new album was coming out soon and it said WORLD TOUR. I SAW SEATTLE ON THE LIST AT FIRST GLANCE AND I WAS LIKE WAIT...ISN'T THAT IN...THE...UNITED STATES!? HIS BEAUTIFUL SELF IS COMING TO VISIT ME!?!? I was spazzing out on the plane and was going to start texting people about it but then realized I don't actually have friends who like G-Dragon all that much so I kept it to myself. I was really happy though and didn't care where I had to go or how much money I needed to spend to see this man perform. All I had to do was wait. I signed up for mobile and email notifications for when the tickets would go on sale and I NEVER GOT A SINGLE TEXT OR EMAIL. WHAT GIVES? Good thing I still had some time a few days after the tickets went on sale. Anyways, let's get into it! I should warn you that I am a huge fangirl. Proceed with caution.
Welcome back! Nice to see you here again. I super appreciate the sweet comments you guys left on my my last favorites post! It's nice to get feedback because I try my best to make my blogs interesting and engaging. Last week was incredibly overwhelming for me. Working nonstop like a machine and my nonexistent sleep schedule has got me feeling exhausted. I'm really pleased with how everything has turned out though! The new and improved website store is OPEN. All Amiibo Cards have their own listing and the inventory will be tracked from now on. We are saying goodbye to the old spreadsheet! The new shop is organized by category and has individual pricing. It was really tedious editing 400+ cards but it's so worth. I got bombarded with orders after the launch and I will have to prepare them after I get back from my trip to New York. I'M SEEING G-DRAGON LIVE! I've been hardcore fangirling and I'm so nervous about the concert tomorrow. I'll be traveling with Luis and we are staying in NY until Friday. Expect a vlog and blog post when I return! So much has been happening and the months are going by at light speed. I hit 7k followers on Twitch not too long ago and just the other day I made it to 8k! August 8th stream has been confirmed! I will be starting my 8TH ANIMAL CROSSING TOWN! The stream will also be a celebration for 8 months of partnership and 8k followers. Seems like 8 is my lucky number right now! Stay tuned because I have some Amiibo Figures I want to giveaway. I feel like I can never give back enough. I am so thankful for Twitch and my community. Thanks for the continued love and support.
This is what I had waiting for me at the post office! The sugar mail time session was so much fun because I like sharing the surprises. I know you guys get a kick out of seeing my reactions to the things that you send me so I make sure to open all packages on stream. I feel so loved and spoiled!
Hai there! Welcome to the start of my brand new lifestyle blog. Most of my blogs are pretty much only Animal Crossing and that's where I obsess about the game, villagers, and my multiple towns. What am I even saying? This entire website is all about Animal Crossing. I have been adding some variety to the tabs such as the review posts so that I can share my most recent and loved products. Vlogging and blogging is enjoyable because it's a way you can document your life and have the ability to look back on special moments. I tried Youtube and honestly didn't really have fun with it. I will upload occasional vlogs when I travel for conventions but all my time and energy will always go to Twitch and my wonderful community. I have trouble putting my thoughts together sometimes but writing really puts me at ease. I know I sit in front of a camera every day but I get so nervous when trying to film a video because I am always very critical of myself. I am just never satisfied. HOWEVER, something you should know about me is that I REALLY LIKE taking pictures. Selfie game strong, Animal Crossing photographer extraordinaire, AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU WANT TO CALL ME. One of my new favorite things is definitely blogging. I have built up a huge collection of cute things that I want to show you guys. This first post is going to mention the items that I cannot live without. It's basically a sneak peek at what I have on my desk and things I need for stream! These are the items that help me achieve aesthetic goals. Hehe I hope you enjoy! Let's check it out! My Favorites ♡
This is one of my most valuable possessions. Next to my 3ds console. If you don't already know, yes, I am that crazy girl who owns 8 copies of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I only own physical copies! I don't like digital because it makes everything difficult. Why have a boring case when you can have Sanrio? Pink is the superior color and I also decided to add some stickers! (I use a small piece of washi tape on my game copies so that I can tell which is which! For example: Disney Town is labeled with winking Mickey)
